Teesside

Day off today and was out with Mark who is also off  this week, with a distinct lack of migrants anywhere near we decided on just a general day at Teesside, we started with a seawatch at Hartlepool Headland but there was nothing really moving today although a good number of sea Ducks are starting to gather offshore, we had a good session photographing Gulls in flight near the Fish Quay though. We eventually made our way back to Saltholme calling off at Newburn Bridge, spending some time here with some roosting Waders, then Seaton Common, but fairly quiet there, Saltholme was also fairly quiet, a Little Egret from the Phil Stead hide being the highlight, we ended the day with a look over Dormans Pool but a female Marsh Harrier was about it.
