Rawcliffe Lake

Went down to the Lake this morning, haven't been all summer, not a great deal about but it was nice to have a common Buzzard go over, the pair of Great Crested Grebes have two well grown juveniles with them, possibly a third brood, and there are a few Gulls knocking about now, not many passerines but a handful of Goldfinches were feeding on thistle heads and one or two Chiffchaffs were calling.
