Going for a Dip

The Ings have still been quite flooded this week although it was receding quite quickly by the weekend, still nothing much birdwise though, a few Hirundines were passing through mid week but the resident birds are long gone, no winter goodies yet.

On Sunday Me and Mark went for the female Pallid Harrier at Firsby Reservoir near Ravenfield but typically it was a no show day nor did it return to its roost this evening, a disappointing dip! there were a few common Buzzards etc, a couple of Ravens went through and lots of Jays toing and froing.
