Local news

Well Spring seems to be coming on, lots of insects buzzing around now, early flowers and blossom appearing and the resident birds getting on with the business, but still awaiting the first spring migrant and winter clings on, still a few winter Thrushes kicking around and a handful of Corn Buntings and Yellowhammers remain at the Cornfield NR, the most notable sighting this week was three Roe Deer in the Cornfield, totally at ease in the middle of the day.
